I joined the dental field in 1989 as a Dental Assistant, and transitioned to the front desk with Dr. Newsome in 2013. I stay busy coordinating patient appointments, treatment planning, assisting insurance claims, posting payments and assisting in many other areas of our practice.
When I’m away from the office I enjoy painting, decorating, creating, and spending time with my family, friends, and my spoiled rotten Miniature Pinscher.

I joined the practice of Dr. Buck and Dr. Newsome in 2000. I had just graduated Dental Assisting School and Dr. Newsome had recently graduated from Dental School. You could say we grew up in dentistry together! I started my career with dental assisting and progressed to front desk and office administration. I enjoy being the first person that greets patients when they visit our office. I specialize in insurance filing, verification, and benefits details but also assist with all other aspects of our practice. I’m here to ensure the practice runs smoothly for our patients and staff.

I joined the dental field in 1986 as a certified Dental Assistant, then continued my education and became a Registered Dental Hygienist ten years later. I have now received my local anesthesia certification and am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. I plan to become a teacher someday and share my 30 years of dental experience with students.
I have been with Dr. Newsome’s practice for ten wonderful years, and am beyond blessed to be part of his dental team. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

I have been a registered Dental Hygienist for over 24 years, and am very blessed and privileged to have spent my entire career in the same dental office. Our practice prides itself on always putting the dental needs of our patients first and foremost. I have watched patients who were children when I began my career here become adults and continue to bring their own children to see us. This confidence in our staff is both heartwarming and humbling. My hope is to always repay their faith in us by continuing to provide truly exceptional dental care.

I graduated from Dental Hygiene school in May, 1987, and have been working in this office since June, 1993. I began working here with Dr. William Buck and continued when Dr. Newsome started his practice in August, 2000.
I provide patient cleanings, soft tissue management, x-rays, fluoride treatments, oral health instruction, and other expanded duties. In my free time I enjoy staying involved with my family, the beach, movies, and shopping.
